We breathe at least 20,000 times a day often less than optimally. Every breath sends a message to our nervous system: relaxed full breaths = a relaxed nervous system and body.
By taking control of our respiration, we take control of our state and practice modulating the nervous system, strengthening the mind body connection, achieving a deeper opening in our muscles and allowing ourselves to release stress while you release endorphins (feel good hormones), and balance the body in a very special class. Monday the 15th we combine a deep Yin Practice with breath work using 45 minutes of Yin Yoga with Barbara to prep us for 45 minutes of breath therapy in the Wim Hof Method with Campbell Will.
Campbell is an Australian physiotherapist and certified instructor of the Wim Hof Method. He will teach us to use the breath to access deeper parts of our physiology and nervous system.
This special class will guide us to surrender, let go and allow deep relaxation to take over the mind and body.
