Do you know how you hurt and why? Join us in this yoga therapy immersion as we give intelligence to action: ask, explore, rebuild. Let Mindy Sisco help you address what hurts and listen mindfully to what your body says. Then, through listening to our bodies, Mindy offers techniques to alleviate and eliminate discomfort.
Session I | Yoga for Knee + Hips 1 pm to 3:00 pm
This workshop addresses discomfort with knee pain and tight hips. Through dedicated observation of existing movement patterns, Mindy will help us identify places where we can change less than optimum movements. She will then collectively give techniques to improve the way we move through the world. These techniques are beneficial on their own or in conjunction with other activities like running, biking, standing or walking. These techniques are also insightful for anyone with ACL reconstructions or hip replacements and are based on Mindy’s personal experience and physical therapy after ACL reconstruction with a graft taken from her hamstring.
Session II | Yoga for Low Back + Neck 3:30 to 5:30 pm
Join us to dig deep into the causes of low back pain and how it sets in motion a domino effect of subsequent pain in other areas of the body. Then learn how to alleviate that pain and, through practice, eliminate it.
Session III | Restorative w/Andrea Franz Park [Toula Yoga] 6:00 pm to 7:45 pm
Relax, slow down, breath. It’s not merely a matter of not making time, often it’s not knowing how. Come learn how to take care as Andrea leads us in an amazing restorative yoga session designed to renew your energy, your spirit and let all that new healing from the Mindy’s sessions sink in.
