Pilates and Yin Yoga Series, 8 weeks of stregnth and meditation


In Chinese philosophy, yin yang describes how seemingly opposite or contrary forces may actually be complementary and interconnected. The philosophy is that we need both practices in order to stay balanced.  In this series the focus will be on strength, alignment, posture and core in the first 50 minutes before Adele moves us into Yin yoga asanas to cultivate mindfulness and body awareness.  The slow and long held poses increase circulation in joints as well as improving flexibility, the perfect way to balance the strength that Pilates builds.
