Acuatic Tulum was founded in 1993 by Alejandro Alvarez Enriquez, a Civil Engineer better known as “Alex Alvarez.” At a time when Tulum was nearly virgin, Alex established his business on this most beautiful beach just a few meters from the Tulum Archaeological Zonetulum.
His vision was to share the unparalleled beauty of the Mexican Caribbean by offering diving and snorkeling tours. That vision became reality as he became the first provider of PADI recreational dive courses in Tulum.Today, Alex is a well known and respected cave instructor and a technical diver for the National Association for Cave Diving (NACD), Technical Diving International (TDI) and Global Underwater Explorers (GUE).
Open Water Diving
This course takes 4 days, and includes theory sessions, shallow water practices and 4 immersions in open water. -- $440 (includes book, practice, equipment and certification, entrances fee to cenotes)
Advanced: This course consists of 5 special immersions. A range of possible dives, for example deep , orientation, night, peak buoyancy performance, naturalist, multilevel etc. -- $390 (includes book, equipment and certification)
In the last few years, the Yucatan Peninsula has become recognized as one of the most popular areas in the world for cave diving. Caves here have excellent visibility year round, moderate temperatures, minimal currents with shallow depths of 10 to 25 meters and a beauty incomparable to any caves in the world. Too, they are easily accessible and within a short distance by car.

If you are already a certified Cave Diver, we can help you make the most of your diving time in the Riviera Maya while avoiding the aggravation of looking for the right line or entrance. We will offer you a personalized and enjoyable experience at your level, while maintaining your safety.

Price includes tanks, weights, transportation from the shop to the cenote and return, and guides.
Snorkeling in the Cenotes
One of the favorite activities for many visitors is snorkeling. Too, snorkeling is a great way to practice for your first dive. Acuatic Tulum offers different options each day at 9 am and 1 pm.
We drive to the “DOS OJOS” System of cenote and caverns for an unforgettable experience swimming in an inundated cave with underwater passages full of stalagmites and stalactites. or the best convination Cenotes and Sea. in special trip to “TanKah”, the reef most beautiful and the price is a same.
